Shadow Illuminator™ Pro and Shadow Illuminator™ Home are image processing plug-ins that intelligently restore details in shadows. Through physical modeling of light and surfaces, Shadow Illuminator™ technology compensates for common illumination problems in photographs. Shadow Illuminator™ technology has been originally developed at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University to enable robots to approach the visual capabilities of the human eye. Users will find that the results of Shadow Illuminator resemble what their eyes would see if they viewed the environment instead of a camera.
Shadow Illuminator™ plug-in is compatible with most popula image manipulation programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Elements, Adobe Illustrator, Jasc Paint Shop, Microsoft Digital Image Pro, Irfan View, and others.
